Using Structured Literacy and the Orton-Gillingham approach, I provide intervention for struggling readers with Dyslexia. My training in multi-sensory explicit, systematic programs recommended for reading, comprehension, and written language skills include Orton-Gillingham and LETRS. These methods of literacy instruction are evidence-based and shown to be effective for struggling readers with and without Dyslexia. With my knowledge of Dyslexia and related issues, I am able to individualize treatment plans for each student and provide progress monitoring.
